Salary – £120,000 + 20% bonus

Responsibilities

• Lead the beverage cans and ends manufacturing site, ensuring optimal performance across all KPIs
• Develop and implement strategies to meet plant objectives in Safety, HR, Environment, Quality, Production, and Cost Control
• Foster a strong Safety culture and ensure compliance with all policies
• Mentor and coach the Plant Management team, building trusting relationships with employees
• Prepare and manage budgets, analysing cost variances to drive efficiency

Essential Skills

• Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing plant leadership role
• In-depth knowledge of business principles, including budgeting and cost control

Desirable Skills

• Experience with continuous improvement tools (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing)
• Knowledge of food safety and management systems
