Salary – Up to £70,000 + 15% bonus

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage manufacturing operations, ensuring products meet customer requirements while achieving business objectives and targets.
• Manage profitability and continuously improve manufacturing performance.
• Prioritise and drive continuous improvement activities through the use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with Safety, HR, Environment, Quality, Production, Engineering, and Cost Control functions to achieve shared goals.
• Build high-performing teams and develop employees to contribute effectively to the business.
• Motivate and drive the team to achieve challenging business objectives.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and deliver exceptional customer service.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
• Previous experience as a Manufacturing/Production Manager in the sustainable metal packaging industry or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully managing skilled engineering teams.

• A solid leader with strong people skills, able to engage, influence, and motivate teams.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of food safety and other management systems.
