Job title: Delivery Driver (multi-drop) - van provided

Location: Leyland

Contract type: Full-time

Work pattern: 9 hour shifts, up to 6 shifts per week including weekend work

Salary: £120 - £123 per day, van included plus bonus during peak

Start date: ASAP

About the role - Delivery Driver (multi-drop)

Responsibilities

  • Load pre-sorted packages on to your van by stepping in and out of the vehicle safely
  • Deliver a set number of packages to customers
  • Adhere to all safety regulations on the road
  • Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records
  • Greet and interact with the company’s customers and the public with a professional and positive attitude

What we need from you

  • Delivery drivers spend their days out on the road, so a passion for driving is a must!
  • You will be a highly motivated individual, able to thrive in a constantly changing environment and be willing to adapt to any situation that arises
  • Independent problem solver with good communication skills, both spoken and written English
  • The ability and willingness to be able to use stairs to deliver packages
  • Ability to lift and shift packages of varying weights
  • Commercial (or work-related) driving experience is a plus but not essential
  • Full and valid UK or EU Driving Licence (max 6 points, NO active IN, DR or TT codes), held for a minimum of 1 years
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Must pass a 5 point drug & alcohol test
  • Must be aged 19+
